Sun Peaks Resort is a mountain playground full of endless possibilities. You don’t have to ski or ride to enjoy winter fun at Sun Peaks. From a relaxing ride on a sno-limo to an adrenaline pumping snowmobile ride, the choice is yours.

Hockey Game

One not to be missed! – A fun filled evening at a Kamloops Blazers hockey game. A private charter to/from the Arena. Arrive at the arena with enough time to dine at one of the many downtown Kamloops restaurants.

Cat Trax Groomer Rides

Ever wonder how fresh snow becomes the groomed corduroy on your favourite ski run? This is your chance to witness first hand by joining one of our groomers as they work their magic. 45 minute tours are available nightly.

Born to Run Dogsled Tour

Learn everything you need to know about dog sled tours in Canada, before heading out on your exhilarating dog sled adventure at Sun Peaks. All sleds are guided, but guests may be given the option to drive the sled daylight permitting. Either standing beside the guide, or alone with the guide sitting on the front of the sled.

Fondue Dinner & Evening Descent

The Fondue Dinner & Evening Descent is a truly unique experience. Board the Sunburst Express chairlift for a twilight ride up to the Sunburst Mid Mountain Restaurant where you will you will be treated to a delightful fondue accompanied by live music. Afterwards cruise down the lantern lit slopes of the 5 Mile ski run with your guide.

First Trax Breakfast

Kick off your day on the mountain with exclusive access to exceptional alpine terrain from 7.45am until 9:00am. Follow this with a hearty breakfast at the Sunburst Lodge, mid-mountain restaurant. First Tracks ticket holders meet at the Sunburst Express chairlift at 7:45am. Guests upload on the Sunburst. (ntermediate or advanced ski or snowboard level)

Horse Drawn Sleigh Rides

Sit back under the covers take in the sights and sounds of the village and surrounding area for a daylight, sunset or evening tour.  Wind through the village at a leisurely pace and listen to the clatter of hooves and ringing of sleigh bells before moving out more briskly into the open for views of the valley, mountains, and Sun Peaks’ many activities and amenities before our return via a gentle ski run.

Snowmobile Tours

Snowmobile tours head into the Sun Peaks backcountry where guests ride on a variety of trails, wide open frozen lakes, and clear meadows. Along the way guests will see the gorgeous views of the Thompson Nicola region.

Snowshoe Rentals and Tours

Join one of the fun and informative afternoon or evening snowshoe tours. Those wishing to create their own adventure can rent snowshoes and explore the 12km’s of trail.

Mike Wiegele Cat Skiing

Snowcat skiing/boarding offers a relaxed introduction to backcountry skiing/boarding and mountain safety skills,helping you build confidence in all types of terrain and snow conditions – including powder!

Winter Segway Tours

Go off road, and experience the thrill of a Winter Segway tour , exploring snow trails with knowledgeable guides.

Getting There

Getting  to Sun Peaks Resort

Sun Peaks can be accessed through two airport gateways in Kamloops (45 mins) and Kelowna (2.5 hours) with direct shuttles to the resort.

Daily direct flights are available to Kamloops from Vancouver and Calgary.
